The Princess Margaret Bridge in Fredericton will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. each day starting from the evening of Monday, June 8, until the morning of Saturday June 13.

A second set of closures is planned for approximately July 20 to Aug. 8. The dates for the third and fourth set of closures are yet to be determined. The department will provide updates.

It’s ambitious we know, but it’s long overdue! With our Tuesday night rec league doubling in size over the past 5 years, it’s inevitble that players will be looking for more ultimate than one night a week!

Soooo…we came up with this crazy idea of introducing a second league…a league for extrordinary frisbeeians like yourself!

Tonights Fields and times changes for teams playing at LHHS BACK fields, will now be playing from 6:00-7:15pm at LHHS Front field…IRP, Disc Jockeys, Jesse and the Rippers and Disc-truction crew

The Ultimate season is almost here and we know you are eager to put those cleats on…well guess what? Your first game is next Tuesday! Yes, on May 19th you will be playing one exhibition game.  We encourage everyone to attend the exhibition game as it is a very important game to meet your teammates and start building chemistry before the actual season starts! The schedule, rules and directions can be found in the LEAGUE section.

Right after your game lets meet up at the Wilser’s Room (Capital Complex) for the league kick-off (and kick-arse) social for free pizza and our favorite 2-for-1 Picaroons. Please contact your captain if you have any questions.

Spawn is in need of some feedback from those interested in playing in their competitive league this Summer. This will be in addition to the REC league. You will be on different and balanced teams.  It will be between $30-40 depending on costs.

The idea is for this to be a closed, invite-only, division for those interested in playing ultimate at a more intense level. Limited to 68 dedicated and committed players.

There will be no rule restrictions in this division and everyone will bring their best game and a willingness to learn. Spawn members will be part of every team to spread some ultimate-knowledge around. There will be a 1-hour practice beforehand for members of this division and any other players who may be interested in learning more, but are not part of the division.

What we need from you is your availability. Please fill out this survey before Sunday, April 26th.
