Fredericton Ultimate

What?
6-on-6, co-ed ultimate.

When?
There will be pickup on September 2nd @ 8:00pm on the Turf (you can pay your fees then as well), and league games start September 9th @ 8:05pm.

Where?
We’re excited to be playing on the new UNB Turf fields for this fall - so check our fields page if you’re not familiar with this great new location. It’s next to the Aitken Centre.

Cost?
$40 in cash or cheque on your first night of league (there are no team fees for Fall).

Teams Scheduled to play at either FHS or LHS tonight are now playing at the Fredericton Raceway. Game times remain the same 6:00pm and 7:15. All game are 60 minutes long to a score of 15. One time out per half.

Games will be played rain or shine, even if the city closes their fields. All the fields we are using are non city fields therefore we play no matter what!

All FU members are encouraged to come to the Raceway to enjoy the finals. Afterwards we will all meet at Wilser’s for awards, free pizza and 2-4-1 Picaroons!!

What: League HAT Tourney - names pulled out of a hat
When: Saturday, August 23rd - 8:30am
Where: Reading Park (see fields page)
Cost: F-R-E-E

League players, here’s your chance to get all the running that you’ve missed these last few Tuesdays back - in one day! The weather is looking really good for this Saturday for our first League HAT tournament of the season.

Games will start at 9:00 am sharp. Registration and HAT draw will be between 8:30 - 8:45am. Bring a light and a dark shirt, your cleats and lots of water. Field food will be provided. You will play a minimum of 3 games during the day and everything should be done around 3pm. Remember, the goal of this tournament is to have FUN and give you the opportunity to play MORE Ultimate with GREAT league players!

Please take note that there will not be a league social this Saturday night, however, be assured that next Tuesday night after the final games of the summer season, we will have our weekly league social at Wilser’s room starting at 8:30pm with free pizza, 2-for-1 picaroons and presentations of the most spirited team of the season, the “total package” player from each team and the 2008 league champions!
