Captains
Well games are up and running, hope you’re having a great time so far! - Few various things.
T-SHIRTS AND ID CARDS: You have (or will) receive your league t-shirt and your membership cards (it’s in captains hands). If there is any problem with the t-shirt size we can exchange for you, please talk to your captain. Also, your membership card entitles you to get the 2for1 picaroons beer at Wilser’s room on Tuesday nights - you need to show your ID card to get the deal. Already lots of people are enjoying the tasty home brewed local refreshments and the BBQ hot-dogs and hamburgers! - Make sure to stop by after your games :o)
GAMES: Games start at 6:15 pm sharp and ends at 7:15pm. Second game 7:30pm - 8:30pm We ask players to please be on time, you should be at the fields for 6pm for warm up - that being said, Ultimate is a very physical sports…we want you to be able to play all summer with no injuries :o)…take the time to warm up properly before and after the games.
RULES : Every player should take the time and read the rules to avoid confusions on the field.
LAST CHANCE : If you have registered and haven’t showed up to your games yet this is your last chance..please contact your captains today to let them know if you will be coming out this summer and when. We have keen players on a waiting list and if we don’t hear from you, we will give them your spot.
FEES: Thanks to all the players who paid their fees. If you haven’t paid yet, we ask you to please do so. Please give the money to your captain no later then next week.
RAIN: In case of rain - it is the city’s discretion to close the fields. If it has been raining all day please call the city field hotline around 5pm for the status of city field closure: 460-2881. During a game, in case of isolated thunderstorms, we ask all players to take shelter in cars, wait until it clears out and resume games if time permits.
ISSUES: If for any reasons you have an issue with the team you have been placed on and would possibly like to be switched on another team - please contact us “confidential” in the subject box and it will be read only by our league coordinator Lucie Lavoie and she’ll try make it work for you to ensure a summer of Ultimate fun.
