Fall League Registration is now complete. Thanks to all who registered and see you on the fields next week! Make sure you are there for 7:30pm to get Team Assignments and geared up.

Look out! Ultimate is coming back to UNB (and all other post-secondary institutions in Fredericton).

FIRST ANNUAL – TRI-CITY LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Sunday August 30th, 2009 at Reading Park
Hosted by Fredericton Ultimate

Top league teams from Moncton (2), Saint John (2) and Fredericton (4) will meet up on Sunday, August 30th for the Tri-City League Championships at Reading Park.

• 8 teams, 2 fields, 60 minutes games to 13 points.
• First game starts at 11am
• Finals at 4 pm.
• No holds barred – steel cage match…or UPA 11th Edition
• Prize for the champions!

Yeah, that was lame…fortunately this weekend will not be! That’s right, Parlee is now just a few days away. Can you taste the sand yet?

The Princess Margaret Bridge in Fredericton will be fully closed to traffic for five consecutive overnights (6:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.) next week. The first closure begins on Monday June 22, at 6:30 p.m. The last one will end on Saturday, June 27, at 6:30 a.m.

The department will provide updates.

The Princess Margaret Bridge in Fredericton will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. each day starting from the evening of Monday, June 8, until the morning of Saturday June 13.

A second set of closures is planned for approximately July 20 to Aug. 8. The dates for the third and fourth set of closures are yet to be determined. The department will provide updates.

It’s ambitious we know, but it’s long overdue! With our Tuesday night rec league doubling in size over the past 5 years, it’s inevitble that players will be looking for more ultimate than one night a week!

Soooo…we came up with this crazy idea of introducing a second league…a league for extrordinary frisbeeians like yourself!
